Dr Senator Mahood Ishola Olalekan Balogun, the late Olubadan was a gem, a mentor, an orator, an administrator and a leader par excellence! The day Baba recognized and realized who I am, he always addressed me with my father's status, he told me he named one of his sons Shereef after me. He always addressed me as “egbon mi” referring to my late Dad. Baba was always inquisitive about one’s progress and can stand for you at any cost. His forgiving spirit is second to none and there is absolutely nothing that he can’t dash out! Oba Lekan Balogun could be likened to a school whose any reasonable one that passes through it would be loaded with knowledge, wisdom and understanding! I pray Allah accept him as his servant as baba died on a Thursday and we buried him on a Friday during the blessed month of Ramadan. May Allah count him among people of Jannat. A'ameen thuma A'ameen.
